L2M1: Introducing Procurement and Supply
Understand the role of procurement & supply in organisations. Identify common procurement terms and understand the impact of procurement and supply. Learn the “Five Rights” of procurement and supply, the stages of the sourcing process, administration processes and ethical responsibilities.
L2M2: Procurement and Supply Operations
Understand the types of organisation, how they operate and contractual agreements. Identify sources of information on suppliers and learn pricing techniques.
L2M3: Stakeholder Relationships
Know who the stakeholders are in procurement and supply, and other internal and external stakeholders. Identify the key market factors which impact the function and the techniques associated with effective stakeholder communication. Learn approaches to conflict resolution.
L2M4: Systems Technology
Understand the use of systems technology and how they contribute to procurement & supply (ie: e-sourcing, e-tendering). Types of system for supplier selection ordering and payment. Know why quality management is important.
L2M5: Inventory, Logistics & Expediting
Learn the key elements for inventory control. Understand the principles and processes associated with effective logistics control. Learn how effective expediting can be achieved.

There are no entry requirements for Level 2 Certificate in Procurement and Supply. You do not need any prior experience or qualifications to start your studies at this level.

What are credits?
Credits are a way of quantifying the number of study hours needed to complete a qualification. 1 credit is equivalent to 10 hours of study. Each module is given a credit value of 3 or 6 credits.
What will I have learned?
Candidates will have gained a clear understanding of facts, procedures and ideas related to procurement and supply. By the end of this course, students will be able to effectively interpret information and ideas and will have learned how to identify, gather and use relevant information.
When can I enrol?
For this course, you can start learning at any time. There is no deadline to enrol for Personal Tutoring. To sign up, click here to register your details. After you have submitted your details, a member from Aspire will contact you with your invoice. Once payment has been made, you will receive your study material and be introduced to your tutor.

Yes. All study material is included in our course fees. Study resources consist of CIPS module textbooks, lecture slides, case studies and mock exam questions.

CIPS Level 2 Certificate typically takes 6 to 8 months to complete.

We offer three years of access to course materials to ensure complete flexibility with your learning. If something unexpected arises in your professional or personal life, you can pause and restart your learning when you are ready.
What happens if I fail a Module?
Our pass rates are exceptional but in the unlikely event you fail a module, you will need to retake. Our team are here to offer guidance and support, and if you are within your 3-year period, you will have access to all the materials to revise any content. You would then be required to pay for the examination fee to re-sit your exam.
Can I change the way I study?
If you find that your study mode is not working for you or want to change venue, just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Which CIPS Level is right one for me?
Selecting the right CIPS qualification level depends on your current experience and career goals in Procurement and supply. Here’s a brief guide:
Level 3 (CIPS Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations): Suitable for those with some experience in Procurement or those who have completed Level 2 and want to advance their knowledge.
Level 4 (CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply): Designed for professionals with some practical experience or those in supervisory or managerial roles. This is the first professional diploma in the CIPS framework.
Level 5 (CIPS Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply): For mid-level professionals with managerial responsibilities in procurement or supply chain roles or those who have completed Level 4 and want to deepen their strategic knowledge.

We offer both Virtual Classes and Face to Face Classes study options to suit different learning styles and preferences. Distance Learning would be ideal if you prefer a self-paced approach and are comfortable with independent study. It’s also the more cost-effective option. While Virtual Classes are designed for those who prefer a more structured environment with tutor-led sessions and opportunities to interact with other students. Face to Face classes are ideal for those who prefer in-person classroom-based teaching. We have study venues across England and depending on the level of course, you can select from evening or weekend classes.
